The District Health Board is working with us to offer a drive-through pop-up vaccination clinic for anyone in our community who has not yet had their first (or second) COVID-19 vaccination. As you know, the Delta strain of the virus is highly infectious and the vaccine is the best way to keep our communities safe from COVID 19. We warmly invite you to drive into Onehunga High School, 24 Pleasant Street, Onehunga with your whānau any time from 9am to 3:30pm on Friday 15 October or Saturday 16 October. You don’t need to book, just drive in.
The vaccination team is from Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. They will be at school wearing protective gear and taking all steps to keep everyone safe. You don’t need to leave your car or bubble but we do ask that everyone wears a face covering. We are sharing this message with our local Kāhui Ako schools and with everyone in our Community Education classes, as well as Onehunga High School students, staff, whānau and community.
If you or anyone in your bubble aged 12 and over is yet to be vaccinated, we welcome you to drive into school a couple of days early for Term Four. The team will be ready to vaccinate all those in your car who want to join in!
